A Global Dialogue on Design in Hanoi
On 5th September 2025, Greenlam’s flagship initiative Design NXT arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam. The summit welcomed 400+ architects and designers, deepening cross-cultural dialogue between India and Vietnam with IIID and VNIA as Knowledge Partners.
A Global Movement
The evening opened with a film tracing Design NXT’s journey across Kazakhstan, Egypt, Europe, and Asia—showcasing its rise as a global platform for design innovation and collaboration.
Design Talks that Inspired
Four engaging talks set the tone:
- Architect Badrinath Kaleru on evolving urban landscapes
- Architect Nguyen Ngoc Duc on boutique hotels with cultural depth
- Architect Manish Kumat on blending Indianness with modern interiors
- Architect Nguyen Tuan Nghia on the soul of Vietnamese homes
Cross-Cultural Dialogue on Wellbeing
A dynamic panel—featuring architects from both nations—explored how design can nurture health, balance, and sustainability beyond aesthetics.
Celebrating Excellence
The evening closed with the Design NXT IIID Awards, honoring outstanding work in young practice, residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors.
Looking Ahead
Hanoi marked another milestone for Design NXT, reinforcing Greenlam’s role in shaping global design conversations. Next stop: London, where the dialogue continues.
