Greenlam strengthens its roots in Malaysia : The Grand Opening of Greenlam Industries Sdn Bhd
Wednesday, August 7, 2024 – Greenlam Laminates is thrilled to announce the operations of Greenlam Industries Sdn Bhd, and the launch of our office and warehouse facility in West Malaysia, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to the region. Spanning 17,000 square feet in Kuala Lumpur, this strategically located facility is designed to enhance accessibility for our clients and ensure a seamless experience.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the grand opening of the warehouse and office was celebrated with a ceremony led by Mr. Lenny Lim, Country Head for West Malaysia, and Mr. Saurabh Mittal, Managing Director and CEO of Greenlam Industries Ltd. The event was graced by esteemed guests who have been integral to Greenlam’s journey in Malaysia over the past 19 years, including interior designers, distributors, developers, showroom owners, and more.
During the inauguration, Mr. Lenny Lim introduced our latest collections: the Greenlam Edition 2023–2025 and the Splendor Collection 2024–2026. Guests had the opportunity to explore these collections through both displays and catalogues.
A highlight of the event was the traditional Lion Dance performed throughout the warehouse and office spaces on both the ground and first floors. The celebration also featured a unique Chalk Grade Laminate wall, adorned with a live mural illustration by renowned artists Luqman Hakim and Uzair Rashid. The artwork beautifully depicted Greenlam’s global capabilities and its connection to Malaysia’s achievements, showcasing key projects, green certifications, and manufacturing capabilities.
Our new facility includes a stocking area with the capacity for 300,000 sheets, and a customer service centre on the ground floor to address walk-in queries and facilitate instant deliveries. The first floor houses an open-plan office with an industrial aesthetic and bright lighting, creating an inviting and functional workspace.
We are excited to continue our journey in West Malaysia and look forward to serving our clients with enhanced efficiency and innovation from our new home.
